This phone/clock radio is a nice looking piece if electronics but it is so bright it took us over a week to get used to so we could sleep. We had to turn it away from the bed so now we can’t see the numbers readily. There is a dimmer switch, but it does not help much. It is like having a green neon sign in your dark bedroom while you are sleeping.

I was expecting to get the phone in the photo but didn’t and it wasn’t even all black but still the same – it was totally different which upset me so I sent it back for a refund. Sorry, I feel when you put a photo next to a description of an item for sale – that’s what I expect to get. I only shop on line when I can see the item I’m buying?

I purchased this clock/radio/phone after having my other one fried in a power surge. I thought it would be a great combo. I love the large numbers, the phone, radio (although I don’t use that much) and dual alarms. The part I hate is that the alarm snooze feature goes off every 3 minutes. Also the alarm is extremely loud, it has actually awakened my daughter from her bedroom across the hall. It is an obnoxious sound too. The worst part is that it cannot be adjusted for volume. I have not used it in the last couple of months because I can’t stand the sound! I have gone back to a simple alarm clock with a gentle sound. I wouldn’t recommend this product unless you are hard of hearing and need something really loud to awaken you. Sorry GE, this is not your best product.

I agree that the batteries work. However, they don’t last very long. For the price the should last at least one year.

The Uniden BT-446 cordless phone battery works like the original battery. The phone stopped working and we guessed it was the battery. No problems after replacing the battery. Wish we had replaced the battery in another cordless phone which stopped working days after ordering the first replacement. Second battery works as well as the first.

I was debating between this battery and the Energizer branded batteries (actually made by Audiovox) that many other people have purchased through Amazon. I've had my phones for about 5 years and the talk time was considerably less than it had been. I work from home a few days a week and am constantly on conference calls (using the hand unit speaker function) so I tend to give my batteries a work out.

It was hard to sift through the reviews on batteries because it seemed most people did not remember how long the talk time was previously, so any new battery seems great. Well I charged these as per the recommendation and had my first test this week. After about 4 hours of speaker phone conversations the battery life was down one (out of three) bar. With the older batteries I would have had to switch to one of my other two phones.

I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend these batteries to anyone looking for an OEM replacement. Because I got so much life out of my old ones, I feel qualified to give some advice on extending the life:

1) Make sure you charge them at least 15 hours; I give it a full 24.
2) When you are not using the phone hang it up on the charging base.

My old batteries are still good for the average person, so if I did not do so many conference calls on speaker they would probably last another 4 years.

It’s great to have my phone good as new again. This battery lasts with handset off of the charger for up to four days with use. I am very happy with Uniden products.

Good service. Communicated order status when there was a change. Gave me an option to cancel. Parts work well. Much better than a new phone system.

Be careful, photo of items is deceiving. Photo shows a Nikon Spudz lens cloth, anti-fog cloth and Nikon lens pen.None of these items are included in order. Read the fine print. You receive a very tiny generic lens cloth (4 x 4), 3 moist toweletts and a bottle of lens spray. Photo should represent everything you will be receiving. You shouldn’t have to read the small print when they are showing a photo of what’s included. Also, the bag didn’t come with any suggestions on how to use the dividers, there is are two odd shaped dividers included and not exactly sure how to position them for best results.
